๐Ÿ”Ž Day 2 โ€” Wiki Scavenger Hunt

15 minutes. 10 finds. Work alone or with a partner. The point isn't the answers โ€” it's that by the end you can find anything on this wiki without asking. Write your answers on the handout (or a doc).

  1. This Week. Open the This Week page. What studio and week are we in right now?

  2. The essential question. Go to your studio packet from This Week. Write down the essential question in your own words.

  3. A skinny. Open the Skinny Library and find the skinny for writing an argument (W.4). What's one thing a 3.0 argument needs that a 2.0 one doesn't?

  4. A primary source. In the Reading Library, find Hammurabi's Code. Name one thing it tells you about who governed and how.

  5. The proficiency scale. Open the WH Proficiency Scales. For Era 1, what does a 3.0 (Proficiency) ask you to do? (Any one target.)

  6. Your grade. On the How SDA Works page, find the grading section. What letter grade does a consistent 3.0 (Proficiency) earn?

  7. The contract. From Week by Week, open the Studio Contract link. How many parts does the contract have?

  8. Demo vs. Deliverable. On How SDA Works, what's the difference between your Demonstration of Learning and your Deliverable?

  9. Get unstuck. Find the FAQ. What does it say to do first when you're stuck โ€” before asking Mr. Reese?

  10. The map. Open the Content Map (last tab). Click any node. Where does it take you?

Finished early? Find one thing on the wiki that's broken, confusing, or missing โ€” and tell Mr. Reese. You just became a wiki editor.

Day-2 onboarding ยท SDA Commons. Navigation becomes muscle memory in week one instead of frustration in week three.
